Matthew 21:1-11 | NKJV<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The Triumphal Entry<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

21<\/strong> Now when they drew near Jerusalem, and came to [a<\/a>]<\/sup>Bethphage, at the Mount of Olives, then Jesus sent two disciples, 2<\/strong> <\/sup>saying to them, \u201cGo into the village opposite you, and immediately you will find a donkey tied, and a colt with her. Loose them<\/em> and bring them<\/em> to Me. 3<\/strong> <\/sup>And if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, \u2018The Lord has need of them,\u2019 and immediately he will send them.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4<\/strong> <\/sup>[b<\/a>]<\/sup>All this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5<\/strong> <\/sup>\u201cTell the daughter of Zion,
\u2018Behold, your King is coming to you,
Lowly, and sitting on a donkey,
A colt, the foal of a donkey.\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6<\/strong> <\/sup>So the disciples went and did as Jesus commanded them. 7<\/strong> <\/sup>They brought the donkey and the colt, laid their clothes on them, [c<\/a>]<\/sup>and set Him<\/em> on them. 8<\/strong> <\/sup>And a very great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them<\/em> on the road. 9<\/strong> <\/sup>Then the multitudes who went before and those who followed cried out, saying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHosanna to the Son of David!
\u2018Blessed is<\/em> He who comes in the name of the Lord!\u2019
Hosanna in the highest!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10<\/strong> <\/sup>And when He had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, \u201cWho is this?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11<\/strong> <\/sup>So the multitudes said, \u201cThis is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
