{"id":1624,"date":"2025-05-04T17:29:36","date_gmt":"2025-05-04T17:29:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.unionbaptistwp.org\/?post_type=sermon&#038;p=1624"},"modified":"2025-05-16T18:06:49","modified_gmt":"2025-05-16T18:06:49","slug":"worshipping-through-times-of-transition","status":"publish","type":"sermon","link":"https:\/\/www.unionbaptistwp.org\/staging\/sermon\/worshipping-through-times-of-transition\/","title":{"rendered":"Worshipping Through Times of Transition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Matthew 28:1-10 | NKJV<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">He Is Risen<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>28<\/strong>&nbsp;Now&nbsp;after the Sabbath, as the first&nbsp;<em>day<\/em>&nbsp;of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene&nbsp;and the other Mary came to see the tomb.&nbsp;<sup><strong>2<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/sup>And behold, there was a great earthquake; for&nbsp;an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone&nbsp;<sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew%2028%3A1-10&amp;version=NKJV#fen-NKJV-24198a\">a<\/a>]<\/sup>from the door, and sat on it.&nbsp;<sup><strong>3<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/sup>His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong><sup>4&nbsp;<\/sup>And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like&nbsp;dead&nbsp;<em>men.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup><strong>5<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/sup>But the angel answered and said to the women, \u201cDo not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified.&nbsp;<sup><strong>6<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/sup>He is not here; for He is risen,&nbsp;as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.&nbsp;<sup><strong>7<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/sup>And go quickly and tell His disciples that He is risen from the dead, and indeed&nbsp;He is going before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><sup><strong>8<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/sup>So they went out quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring His disciples word.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Women Worship the Risen Lord<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><sup><strong>9<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/sup>And&nbsp;<sup>[<a href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Matthew%2028%3A1-10&amp;version=NKJV#fen-NKJV-24205b\">b<\/a>]<\/sup>as they went to tell His disciples, behold,&nbsp;Jesus met them, saying,&nbsp;\u201cRejoice!\u201d&nbsp;So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him.&nbsp;<sup><strong>10<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/sup>Then Jesus said to them,&nbsp;\u201cDo not be afraid.
