Baptisms

At Union Baptist Church, baptism is a cherished act of faith, symbolizing your personal confession and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ. If you believe that Jesus died for your sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, you are invited to take this step of faith through baptism.

Adult and teen candidates for baptism must complete the New Disciple Orientation class. Children 9-13 years candidates for baptism must first complete our “Preparing for Baptism” class to ensure they understand the significance of this decision.

To express your desire for baptism, simply indicate it on the new member registration form or contact our church office at (914) 948-6439 and speak with a staff member for more information and answer any questions you may have.
