C.A.R.E.S. is an acronym meaning, Counseling, Advocacy, Resources, Educational Enrichment, and Spiritual Support. The goal is to foster education and provide support to youth, helping them achieve their academic and educational aspirations.
Union C.A.R.E.S. Activities
Union Care Package for College Students:
– Includes gifts from the church to support our students during midterm and final examinations.
Scholarships:
– Individual Scholarships: Sponsored by members of the congregation and awarded to graduating high school seniors.
– Union Church Scholarships: Awarded to graduating high school students who have been accepted to colleges, universities, or trade schools.
Union C.A.R.E.S. Annual Achievement and Award Ceremony:
– A celebration to honor accomplishments within the church and the community.
Kwanzaa Celebration:
– An event to celebrate and educate about the cultural significance of Kwanzaa.
